Happy New Year

On January 1, 2010, TheStage Repertory Company launched its online presence, which includes a Web site, a Facebook page, a Twitter account and this blog.

Each channel has its own specific function with a common thread between them, to let you know about TheStage Rep and what we are doing. This blog will provide you with more of the "insiders view" of our organization, its formation and its evolution.

In February, we will announce our first event, in March we will announce our planned season and in April we will mount our first production. It is a lot of work but we are up to the task. Over the next few months, we will also begin introducing you to the people behind the company and how they will be involved.

Right now, we are forming our Board of Directors, securing venues and deciding on our calendar of events for TheStage Rep's 2010-2011 inaugural season. We have a long list of plays and musicals that we are interested in producing, so it should be fun weighing our options and coming up with something exciting to bring to our community.
